Layalina restaurant and hookah lounge at 9735 Old Saint Augustine Road, Jacksonville, Florida.

Me and some friends went a few months ago... Like 5 months ago... I heard there's new owners and I hope this is true... Because our experience was not great.
The hookah was okay but we sat there for a good 15 minutes before someone came to help us... There was nobody else in the entire restaurant except for what seemed to be a table if people who work there or family of the people who work there. we were the only customers there... Then we ask for some water and they brought us warm bottles of water... However they brought out cold bottles of water 2 the friends or family members sitting at the other table.
It was just very poor customer service. You think if you have almost no customers you'd want to treat the ones that do come in well so that they would tell their friends and so you'd get good reviews. Free advertising.
The hookah was alright but I don't think we'll ever go back simply because we were treated like we were unimportant and an inconvenience.

The food and service were outstanding. I live somewhat far, and I’m seriously thinking about moving closer to the restaurant. YES, the food is THAT good.
